Poppy é um papagaio, que foi raptado e enviado para uma fábrica. Agora, tem que seguir o trilho dos seus amigos (penas), também prisioneiros, resgatá-los e escapar de um destino inglório.
Apesar de Poppy the Parrot ter sido criado com o MPAGD, parece um retrocesso relativamente a outros jogos do género. Dois problemas saltam logo à vista. O primeiro, a escolha de teclas WASD, que apesar de ter no menu inicial opção de redefinição, na prática essa opção não funciona. E todos sabemos que essa configuração não é adequada para dextros ou para o ZX Spectrum.
Em segundo lugar, as cores escolhidas são infelizes, provocando inúmeras dificuldades para se conseguir encontrar os diversos objectos. Branco, em fundo azul claro, e amarelo, não funciona. Quarentões e cinquentões já não têm a vista da juventude, e já estamos a prever as dificuldades das pessoas para conseguirem visualizar tudo.
Esperemos agora por futuras aventuras de Crazy Duck Games, podendo Poppy the Parrot aqui ser descarregado.

EliminarIt was working for me a few minutes ago, but there's some bugs which I think are related to when the penguin touches one of the other yellow characters - the energy randomly loops round to 255, and you can walk off the edge of the screen to the other side.

EliminarIt was taken down momentarily because there was a game breaking bug that actually stopped you from completing the game. Personally i liked the colors because i thought colorful might be suited for a parrot. But i have to admit i didn´t even think about visibility. Controls, yes. I´ve tried playing the game on "The Spectrum", as close to original as i could get. And playing with the keyboard was not really doable. Using a Joypad worked, though. If i make another game, i´m going to see if i can make the controls really redefinable.
